MIDIS PROGRAM

Our Midi Hockey Academy (ages 11–13) is a structured 20-week programme designed for players who are ready to build on their fundamentals and take the next step in their development. Aimed at those looking to improve their core skillset while preparing for pathway trials and the transition into senior club hockey, this programme provides the ideal balance of technical, tactical, and physical progression.

Across the 20 weeks, players will refine essential skills such as passing accuracy, first touch, ball carrying, and finishing under pressure. Sessions are designed to challenge decision-making, game awareness, and positional understanding through realistic, game-based scenarios. As players grow in confidence, greater emphasis is placed on speed of play, spatial awareness, and executing skills consistently in match conditions.

In addition to technical development, we focus on preparing players for the demands of higher-level hockey. This includes introducing basic tactical principles, improving communication, and building resilience and accountability within a team environment. Players will gain insight into what is expected at pathway level and how to perform under trial conditions.

By the end of the programme, players will be more confident, technically sharper, and better prepared to step into senior club hockey and pursue representative opportunities.
